Go Magnum Loans
Go Magnum Loans approached us requesting a new website to attract clients and respond to the adoption of fintech platforms across their consumer base.
Investing in a Brokerage’s Creative Capital
Go Magnum Loans needed a marketing product that would scale with them as they provided personalized support to new buyers in an expanded service range.
Background

The firm is dedicated to building the trust of its community and supporting underserved groups through investment and philanthropy.
Defining a Target
Though their products support a wide-variety of clientele, first-time homebuyers were identified as an audience with significant growth potential. The website’s primary goal based on helping new homebuyers feel comfortable, confident, and educated during their experience. Framing the Problem
Go Magnum was seeking a digital transformation to remain competitive with fintech options in the home mortgage space. As Go Magnum was poised for expansion into new geographic territory, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, underscoring the need for a cohesive digital presence.
Designing a Solution
After conducting an audit of the existing website, we determined that a full website redesign would be necessary to convey the new brand and positioning. A contemporary interface and experience was important to reach a younger, tech-savvy group of new buyers. This website was supported by a rebrand, including visual identity, messaging, and strategy conducted by the agency and its partners.

One of the first steps was organizing the content to create a navigational flow.
Finding a Unique Market Position
To differentiate from other options in the market, Go Magnum placed importance on content development to explain the mortgage process in comfortable and concise language. This content marketing strategy to meet the needs of new homebuyers influenced the site's architecture.

The process of creating visuals to express the experience began with sketching to allow quick iterations.

Sketches evolved into digital wireframes to show layout and interactions.

Brand assets were designed by our team including a responsive logo system, color palette, and brand typeface.

I created web styles based on brand assets designed by our team including a typescale and color system. Accessible colors were selected by adjusting existing brand colors.

Buttons were designed as component variants within Figma to build a scalable design system.

UI animations were built in After Effects with Lottie to deliver .json files for development.
